Duvet - The Ultimate Covers Band!! is a high-energy covers band that performs a wide range of popular hits from multiple decades and genres. With their dynamic stage presence and impressive musicianship, we are sure to get the crowd dancing and singing along. Whether you're a fan of rock, pop, or soul, Duvet has something for everyone. We're the ultimate band for parties, weddings, and events.
Iain (Lead Vocals)
Iain has played to many a crowd in his years as a singing front Man. He has even played Jesus in the musical Messiah. He changes his attire for every Duvet... set, and has a immaculate collection of hats.
Nick (Bass)
Nick has played for over 25 years in various bands. Nick is proud to announce that he's old, very grey and thanks the lord that, on a good day, he can coordinate 4 fingers with 4 strings. He loves the Beatles, the Clash, Stevie Wonder. To keep him even busier he teaches music in a school.
Tris (Guitar)
Tris is amazing! He's proficient in an array of styles and has played in many places including foreign lands. From funky grooves to shredding solos, Tris adds the icing to an already succulent Duvet cake!
Stew (Percussion)
Stewart holds a music degree and has never left academia. He now lectures at the University of Huddersfield. He is also a talented drummer taking over from Jez on a couple of tracks. Stew also handles the DUVET... live sound and light situation.
Jez (Drums)
Jez founded Duvet - The ultimate Covers Band!! in 2002. He has a degree in Music from the University of Huddersfield, the same institution where he met Stewart. Jez is also a singer and guitarist, and comes to the fore for a couple of Duvet's numbers! Jez is also a trained Fire Marshal and a trained First Aider.

We have options to suit most weddings, whether you're planning a larger gathering or something more intimate so we're sure we can accomodate your needs. We've provided the entertainment for many a bride and groom, and would love to do the same for you.
Duvet - The Ultimate Covers Band!! can provide our Ultimate Party Experience taking you through the ages from the 60s to modern day, with the common theme being that we play songs that will make you and your guests want to dance the night away.

If you're looking for something a little lighter, check out DUVET:Lounge, an acoustic set that can be booked as a stand alone set, or an add on to the Ultimate Party Experience if you want your guests entertaining during that later afternoon slot that no one knows what to do with!
Most venues have a place for The Band, and most are big enough. Duvet simply ask for roughly 4m x 3m and 2 separate power sockets so it couldn't be easier. Outside venue? No problem, just make sure we are undercover! See our DUVET Stage Plan here or if in doubt, Contact us to check, as we've probably played the venue before!

DUVET:Lounge - Music starts 16:00 or 19:00 depending on your chosen booking.
Duvet: Ultimate Party Experience - Music starts at 21:00
The band will take a short break between sets, with filler music being provided free of charge during the interval. On request filler music can be played following the final performance, to keep you dancing until bedtime (or at least until your DJ arrives!)
The band sets up approx. 1-2 hours in advance as agreed with the venue for the afternoon slot, and between 17:30 and 18:30 for the evening slot ready for guests arriving at 19:30.
Our prices start from £1000 but please do Contact us to discuss your requirement and we can build a package. We can even throw in some inflatable props for your party goers; always a winner!
